Downflow processes often carry metallic contaminants and fouling deposits, which tend to clog the upper surface of reactor catalyst beds rapidly. Our screens effectively expand bed surface area, dispersing foulants over a wider scope and extending service life. This is simply achieved by installing screen assemblies atop the catalyst bed. Proper sizing and layout can boost the effective bed area by up to 400% and intercept most contaminants in process fluid.

The screens withstand regular operating pressure as well as impact load from catalyst dumping. They endure vigorous brushing and flushing during routine cleaning without cracking or abrasion.
