VapoFan

Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) technology is widely applied in evaporators. It serves as an efficient solution to supply thermal energy for intermediate materials. Steam is generally compressed by motor-driven compressors to heat the evaporator column. Thanks to its low energy consumption, the MVR process stands out as the most cost-effective evaporation technology.
In the past, sophisticated turbo compressors or positive displacement blowers with speeds exceeding 12,000 rpm were commonly adopted in such processes.
Since the 1980s, PILLER has been delivering high-performance blower solutions for these applications. Today, PILLER has established itself as a technological and market leader in the field of vapor compression with single-stage and multi-stage high-efficiency blowers.

Vertically designed blowers with outstanding efficiency

Featuring small footprint and low energy consumption with independent installation space, VapoFan is perfectly suitable for integration into compact evaporator systems.

The perfectly matched drive unit delivers superior efficiency, consisting of PILLER self-developed synchronous motors and matching frequency converters of various specifications to meet diverse customer demands.

Designed as a radial blower, it ensures stable and reliable operation. Sufficient clearance between impeller and casing effectively avoids physical contact.

Compared with rotary lobe blowers, PILLER VapoFan delivers more stable flow rate and maintains constant efficiency across a wide operating range. Thanks to the optimal matching between motor and blower, its efficiency reaches up to 86%.

Plug-in blower system

PILLER not only manufactures high-performance blowers, but also provides complete solutions including in-house developed drive systems and control electronics. Available in single-stage and two-stage standard configurations, extra stages can be added as required to achieve higher temperature rise. All components of this modular system can be customized to satisfy specific client requirements.
